Annual Fred Hack Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournament

On Saturday, October 10, enjoy a relaxing and fun round of golf with your colleagues at the Saratoga Lake Golf Course. The clubhouse is done!

All proceeds go directly to the Fred Hack Memorial Scholarship Program to help defray the increasing education costs for NYSSFA active and affiliate members’ dependent children.

In this riveting keynote, Ms. Valentine will share her wealth of experience as she describes what it takes to fulfill our mission in education. Her message serves as a powerful reminder that the work that we do is vital to the success of our schools. Her remarkable and unique story of perseverance, courage, and triumph in the face of adversity provides the blueprint for moving from the impossible to mission possible.

Ms. Valentine served as a teacher, assistant principal, principal, and executive director in a highly successful school district in Louisiana. Her transformational leadership was recognized with numerous local, state, and national awards and commendations. Ms. Valentine is an author, national speaker, consultant, and business owner.

Raymond McNulty, President of the National Dropout Prevention Center and Successful Practices Network

Raymond J. McNulty is the President of the National Dropout Prevention Center (NDPC), and the Successful Practices Network SPN). He is also a Senior Fellow to the International Center for Leadership in Education.

Ray is a presenter at the state, national, and international levels on the need for school systems to accept the challenges that lie ahead. He is committed to raising performance standards for both teachers and students and to building solid connections between schools and their communities. Ray believes strongly that education systems cannot wait for the children and challenges to arrive at school; rather, schools need to reach out and help forge solutions.
