Unclogging the Leadership Pipeline

Colonel Thomas Magness, US Armry, Retired, P.E.

Col. Magness' address will focus on overall theme of mentorship and coaching. Using stories, examples, and best practices from the military to identify ways to develop high potential team members from within the organization by clearly defining skills at each layer of leadership (from individual contributor to Senior Executive/Facilities Director), getting people in the flow, and identifying true motivating factors within each person. By emphasizing the role of the Leader-Coach, providing a few tools, and identifying critical success factors, participants will recognize their legacy is not in their accomplishments, but in the leaders they develop and the people they leave behind.
