Why was the in-person SFA/SFMI 2020 Conference & Expo canceled?

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was determined that it was in everyone's best interest that we cancel the in-person meeting in Saratoga Springs. The current and projected situation in New York State made it impossible for us to move forward, with any degree of confidence, to host a safe and productive in-person meeting in October. It is our sincere hope that we will be able to gather once again in person next year and for many years to come in Saratoga and continue to provide our members with the atmosphere of camaraderie and professional development that has become our tradition.
